What We Do

Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy

NAS Rehab Services proudly serves the states of Maryland and Virginia and specializes in At Home Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for older adults.

NAS rehab rehabilitates lives! Our clinicians provide quality care with care and compassion to older adults and the geriatric population in their home environment, believing in their strength and determination and allowing them to use all the necessary tools in order to achieve what once seemed impossible.

Getting around safely and independently is the goal of physical therapy. PT is a skilled rehabilitative service that focuses on balance, mobility, gait, functional independence, and pain management, which allows the best quality of life possible. Your Plan of Care may include: full evaluation and treatment of a patient’s strength, balance, gait, endurance, functional mobility, and environment, amongst other impairments and functional limitations.

HOW IT ALL Started

We have always connected with older adults and this connection has led us to working in different therapy settings such as assisted living facilities and outpatient clinics. However, we always felt more could be done for this particular group of patients. Making care more accessible to the older adults' population is our drive! We celebrate the power of exercise and its power to rehabilitate lives!

Our committed and dedicated clinicians treat patients with physical and cognitive limitations with compassion and positive outcomes.

Today, more than ever, we feel like home visit therapy is the future. NAS Rehab’s Older Adults House Calls plays an important role in controlling the spread of COVID-19 as well as in minimizing adverse outcomes to older patients by allowing them to receive the services they need in the safety of their homes.

Our clinicians support acute and chronic patients’ needs thus preventing unnecessary appointments, emergency department visits, falls and hospitalizations..

Our COVID-19 Response!

What to expect during a NAS REHAB visit:
  • Your NAS REHAB clinician will ask you questions related to signs, symptoms, and potential exposure to COVID-19 prior to each visit, typically over the phone. These questions are part of our COVID-19 questionnaire which helps protect you as well as your clinician.
    • If, during a visit, your clinician determines that you, or a person living with you, are exhibiting potential symptoms of COVID-19, your clinician will stop your treatment session, provide you a with mask, and inform your physician of their findings.
  • Our clinicians are trained to follow special precautions when they come to your home for your treatment. Your NAS REHAB clinician will be:
    • Using hand sanitizer before and after each visit
    • Disinfecting therapy equipment between each patient use
    • Wearing a mask, a face shield, and disposable shoe coverings.

Our clinicians perform self-screenings for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Any clinician with respiratory symptoms is not permitted to see patients until cleared by a physician.

The health and well being of our patients and clinicians are our priority! At NAS REHAB, all clinicians adhere to a strict health protocol to make sure we keep you safe.
